It’s that time of the year again to nominate a well-deserved public sector individual or agency for one of the following 2017 awards, given by IPMA-HR to recognize outstanding achievements and milestones being reached within the public sector. Application deadline is by June 5, 2017.
The Warner W. Stockberger Achievement
Award recognizes and honors a leader in public or private life in the field of public sector personnel management at the federal, state or local level. Recipients are chosen without regard to their membership status. See details.
The IPMA-HR Honorary Life Memberships are awarded to up to two members per year, who have held office at IPMA-HR or who have made significant contributions to the Association at the national, regional or chapter levels, or who have accomplished distinguished authorship or research and other professional achievements. See details.
The Agency Award for Excellence
recognizes the overall quality, accomplishments and contributions of an agency’s human resource program that exceeds the normal operation of a “good government human resource program.” Awards are given in three categories (Small, Medium, Large Agencies) and are based on program initiatives, accomplishments and contributions within the three-year time period immediately preceding the nomination.
