The House of Representatives passed H.R. 6094, which would delay the December 1st effective date of the FLSA overtime regulations for 6 months. The bill, which was introduced by Representative Tim Walberg (R-MI) passed by a vote of 246-177. A companion bill (S. 3462) has been introduced by Senator James Lankford (R-OK). The Congress is on recess until after the November elections.
