Once you have completed the Public Sector HR Essentials Program — offered online three times a year in winter (January-May), Spring (April-August) and fall (August-December) — and pass the new CP Exam you are automatically certified. No application is required for this certification.
IPMA-HR will automatically send you your certification credentials, along with your recertification information. Included in this packet will also be a form which provides you with the opportunity to have your supervisor and other leaders in your organization notified of your accomplishment.
Recertification is required every three years for a nominal fee.
