Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical, administrative, confidential, and advanced level clerical duties in support of a centralized human resource department. This technical class is primarily concerned with the functions of recruitment and selection, although assignments may be expanded into other human resource areas for training and support. Incumbents perform confidential administrative support duties that require the frequent use of discretion, initiative, independent judgment, and attention to detail.
Equivalent to the completion of 30 semester units of college coursework in business administration, psychology, communications or a closely related field.
Two (2) years of experience which has included responsibility for interpreting and explaining complex rules and regulations; researching information and preparing accurate documents and reports; or office support work that included data entry and the processing of forms and records.
