The City of Cincinnati is conducting a national search for an experienced, strategic, service-oriented, and innovative human resources generalist with a strong labor relations record (6 collective bargaining groups and 9 collective bargaining agreements) to serve as the City’s next Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources leads a department with 18 full-time employees and a budget of $1.98 million. The Director of Human Resources serves as the Secretary to the Civil Service Commission and is a key member of the City Manager’s Executive Leadership Team. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in professional human resources work including a minimum of 3 years of senior executive administrative and management responsibility. An advanced degree and/or a professional certification in Human Resources is preferred. The salary for the Director of Human Resources is $105,565 to $142,513 annually.
