Please email the Assessment Services Department to request a free customization packet — be sure to specify whether you're interested in a police or fire customized test. Note: A Test Security Agreement must be on file prior to receiving the packet.
Our Item Writing Service offers you the opportunity to include unique, professionally-written test items for use in your semistock and fully customized promotional tests — or as an addition to your in-house tests. You may include original test items based on your choice of outside source materials, for example: departmental policies and procedures, training manuals, and other relevant texts.
Please note that IPMA-HR's membership discount cannot be used toward this service.
Please be aware that you will work with an IPMA-HR customer service representative to create a required reading list for this test. Candidates must receive this reading list 60 days or more prior to the exam. Be sure to allow enough time for candidates to locate a copy of each book (which could take up to two weeks if candidates order copies online) and study all the books (suggested minimum of 60 days).
